The 8th March 2020 marks the campaign theme for International Women’s Day 2020 is #EachforEqual; a reminder that we’re all responsible for building a more just and equitable world, and that we all have the power to change things. Right now, is a great and important time in history to do everything possible to help forge a more gender-balanced world. Women have come a long way, yet there’s still more to be achieved.
It is possible that violent conflict can be prevented, and peace built, one person at a time. Each of us can, and must, play our part in making violent conflict, poverty and gender inequality something of the past.
Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. We can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and celebrate women’s achievements.
As we work together as peace-builders around the world, we aim to encourage everyone to play their part in creating more equal and inclusive communities. Each of us can, and must, play our part in making violent conflict, poverty and gender inequality something of the past. Collectively, each one of us can help create change.
Let’s all be #EachforEqual, as we celebrate women’s achievements and increasing visibility, while calling out inequality, is key.
It takes all of us, working in collaboration and across that which sometimes divides us, breaking down stereotypes and gendered roles to create a world where women and girls everywhere have equal rights and opportunities. Consider, reflect, and celebrate the acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.

When you let go of doubt and fear … you are free to embrace Trust. Be open to embracing trust in a greater way, as a woman, this is your key.
Open your hand … your heart … your mind … your spirit. Release what has held you back, what you have chosen to be bound by. You are free! When fear leaves you, Trust flows in to occupy all those spaces within you that have been closed off, without light and warmth.
In Trust, you spark the light of your inner Be-ing, and give your spirit permission to shine through!
