Expect Sudden Surprises 💫
When I was younger, my life wasn’t measuring up to what I wanted.
I wanted a different life, and I wanted a happier one.
I didn’t realise that my challenges at home, were moulding and morphing me to overcome the difficulties.
Being new migrants to Australia, my parents couldn’t find work in their areas of education, and the lack of income created a ripple of stress in all parts of their lives.
With no boundaries, as an empath, I absorbed their intrusive worried thoughts.
At times, I felt I was going backwards; I magnified the problems and felt powerless.
I blamed the world, I blamed my dad, and I blamed God (I was brought up Catholic, so I must have done something wrong and did not deserve a happy life).
I didn’t realise that life was messy and chaotic, and at times, it felt like a crisis was reaching a tipping point.
Because the stress hormones flooded my brain, I was often overwhelmed, and everything in my life was pulling for my attention.
Unable to stop and see the bigger picture, because there was a gap between how I thought life should be and the reality. I couldn’t see just the next stepping stone.
I thought others had an easy, happy, and perfect life.
I didn’t know what was going on for others behind closed doors.
We can all become caught up in the trap, of this innocent and immature way of thinking.
Challenges are a normal part of the process of growth and change, and a seed of opportunity.
The grit (irritation and annoyance) was shaping and smoothing off the prickly issues that would become my greatest strengths.
I learnt how to stand up for myself, speak up, stay grounded in my body, not project my fear into a negative future, expect the worst from situations or events, and found my positivity and joy within.
What opportunities are hidden within the challenges you are facing?
The Aquarius full moon (air element) on August 20th, at 2:25 am AEST, is helping to shape your mind to see life differently.
It will highlight memories buried away, draw things out, and cleanse them. No longer dwelling on the irritations of the past, your mind will begin to focus, increasing your ability to choose the best options rather than being distracted.
It will help to retrieve the times when your soul escaped reality and chased a perfect life.
Understanding that life is not linear but spirals back to help you collect the parts you ignored, and didn’t see or value as important.
