End of an Era: Close 2024 on a High 
When I tend to my beautiful garden, maintaining it during the different seasons and tending to the soil, it always reflects my inner landscape and where I may be stuck on my path. I observed the bees, butterflies, prolific spring blossoms, the various birds that nest in the trees around my home, and, of course, the WEEDS. Ahh, they test me !!
I pull at them, with my gloved hands; I dig up the roots, firmly secured in the earth, and wait for them to dry up so it’s easier to tug at spikey ones, to make space for other plants to thrive. Cultivating my garden becomes a metaphor for generating my dreams, hopes, and aspirations.
I share this: as the year is coming to a close, this is the perfect time to clear the remnants of 2024 and tie up the loose ends and anything incomplete so that you don’t take them with you into 2025.
The times when your gremlins surfaced, when you worried and battled your thoughts, noticing the division created by your mind, torn with choices and uncertainty. And how this has affected your health, relationships, creativity and work/ biz.
I was inspired to write this poem about the transition into 2025.
Clearing the Weeds of Struggle
In the garden of a year gone by, where shadows cast and struggles lie,
We turn our gaze to brighter days, to clear the weeds that cloud our ways.
The thorns of doubt, the vines of fear, we pull them up, and cut them away.
With a gentle sweep, we release the burdens that held us tight,
And in their place, we plant the seeds of hope and light,
Farewell to the tears we’ve shed, to paths once dark, that now shine bright,
With faith as strong as ancient trees, we rise above the heartache of the dark night.
In the letting go, with hands that heal, the seeds of joy begin to grow.
For in clearing the weeds, we find our strength, courage and flow.
And as we transition into 2025, with renewed inspiration to greet the new dawn.
We’ll dance among the flowers, from seeds of love and dreams we’ve sown.
